See there are different types of seats for MBBS and cut-off marks are different for different types of seats, so let us discuss them. For Indian candidates there are two types of seats for MBBS, first one is government quota or A-Category seat and other one is Management quota or B-category seat.

For government quota seats only the students of that state are eligible where the institution in situated and for NEET score, this depends upon your state because in some states such as Karnataka, Telangana and so on you can get this type of seat by just scoring 420-450 marks in NEET out of 720, but there are some other states such as UP, Bihar where the marks required for this type of seat are quite high around 560-580.

Now Management quota seats are filled through two ways, first is through state quota counselling and other one is through direct admission. So if you want it through state quota counselling your score in NEET should be around 300-400 or more out of 720 marks but if you want through direct admission then there is a condition for direct admission that you must have qualified in NEET and appeared in NEET Counselling and unable to secure any seat through it.

There is another type of seat which is known as NRI quota seat for which Indian candidates are not eligible instead only NRI candidates can take admission on that.

Note that all above marks are for General category aspirant, for reserved category candidates the cut-off marks are quite lower as compare to that of General category.
