For admission in JEE marks of minimum required marks in class 12 is 75% for general and and 65% for others and admission is taken on the basis of marks scored in respective examination

Engineering is among the most preferred course at the present time who has done 12th from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics.
The minimum percentage of marks required to get admission in engineering is 75% from a recognized board. So even if you have equal to or more than 75%, you are eligible for any stream of engineering.
Joint Entrance exam is conducted by IIT for admission in engineering college last like IIT, NIT and other government engineering colleges. Percentage scored in 12th board is vital in admission, so you must aim to score as high as possible in 12th board. Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board
