As the exam is being conducted by CBSE, thorough reading of the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) textbooks is must. The content of NCERT books should be read completely and figures given should be understood minutely. You must solve the exercises given in the NCERT books. It will help you.
Here are some of the important tips you can follow:
Devise a study plan - The basic rule to crack any exam is to understand your weaknesses and turn them into strengths. So is the case with NEET. Many of you may have just taken to the concept of studying in an organised fashion (including some self-study) in the 11th standard. You must make notes of important formulae and equations while studying. Once through with a chapter or concept, attempt the sample questions based on it. This is the best way to gauge if you have learnt the concept well or if there some scope for improvement.
Short notes: Make your own notes & note down the formulaes as per your convenience, it will help you in revision.
Evaluation - It is important to revise older concepts to master them completely, and then move over to other concepts. This can be done by solving mock and sample papers for NEET.
Be optimistic - The aggressive competition that surrounds NEET may be quite overwhelming. A genuine need to succeed coupled with a positive attitude will help you face the challenge without feeling the nerves; only strong-willed and determined candidates are the ones who ultimately make the cut.
Point to consider: NEET exam covers NCERT syllabus as well, you can compare the syllabus with your Board exam syllabus. It is beneficial for you if there are common chapters as you will not need to prepare them separately. This will give you ample time to concentrate on the parts of the syllabus that are not covered.
Select the apt study material for NEET because it is an important element.
Make a study plan and that should be effective and not the unrealistic ones.
Focus on your weak areas and practice mocks to improve your preparation and analyse your performance.
Be positive and do not panic.
Hope this helps.
