Hi there, as far as the Lovely Professional University is concerned, you can take direct admission, however, there are certain programs in which you can get admission only if you qualify the entrance exam. Apart from that the programs such as BBA, BCOMM, BSc and BA programs do not have mandatory entrance test as an eligibility, you can seek admission in these programs. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech. (CSE) in LPU is passed with 60% in 12th standard (with Physics, Maths, English) subject to qualifying LPUNEST/JEE Main. It means to take admission in this programme you must qualify either LPUNEST (an entrance exam of LPU) or JEE Main. If you got 80 percentile in JEE Main, then LPUNEST will be exempted for you. You can take direct admission on the basis of your score (80 percentile) of JEE Main. LPUNEST is an online exam (Fully MCQs) with no negative marking.
