working in a company and passed b tech 6 years before can i apply for gate exam
Hello student yes you're eligible as eligibility criteria says - Candidates must have passed graduation in engineering / technology or Master’s degree in science there's no upper age limit in GATE.
As there's no upper age limit and you've a B.tech graduate you're eligible for GATE.

Yes, as there is no upper age limit to appear in GATE you can appear for it.You must have passed Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or its equivalent from a recognized board or university. The application will be released in the month of August or September 2020 for GATE 2021.

Off course you are eligible because there is no age limit for GATE . You only need to have engineering degree or MSc degree in relevant science subject .
