Yes you are able to sit with cse students for placement.Most of the software companies recruit ece engineers.

The suggestion is to keep a backup of computer languages like C,C++,Java ,python.

Like I strongly suggest any two of them.so then it would be easy to get a placement in one of the mnc.

Yes, you'll be able to sit in placements with CSE students despite of taking ECE in majority of cases.



Actually, it depends on company. However most companies(75-80%) allow ECE students to sit for CSE placements, provided they fulfill their minimum requirements.



So, if you are taking ECE try to maintain a good CGPA and also decent knowledge of coding in C++ and JAVA.
