hi macharla,
As of now by latest reports by NTA the April Jee Mains will be conducted in the last week of May. The 1st lockdown due to coronavirus will end on 14th april. Even If government find the situation necessary to put second lockdown then it will be over before last week of May. Our country may not need a lockdown till the end of 2020. China put lockdown for 2-3 month and they are almost corona free. So lockdown till the end of year may not happen. Yes if corona is extended even after last of week of MAY then may be NTA have to declare rank on the basis of Jee Mains. It may or may not happen. I am sure they will that clear. But as of now you should be preparing for JEE Mains May last week.
I hope this answer will help.
All the best for the future!!
See, nobody is can tell you that.Even NTA will not be able to say anything regarding this at this point of time. Not only JEE but lot of important examination are on hold like NEET,UPSC CSE and even boards are still on hold.Ideally these exams must need to happen but everything will depend on the situation after the current lockdown will be over.
As of now the DG of NTA has said that JEE will take place in the end of May.
Some states have even extended the lockdown till June because the situation is getting bad in some states. You cannot do anything expect wait for the government to announce what and when thing will come in place. But if the situation will not get in control then dates for exams will definitely extend.
I hope this helps.
