See usually the official documents like birth certificate etc should not be laminated as they need stamp from government authorities. For example while getting a passport or foreign jobs you need a stamp on them so in that case it should be laminated.

The laminated documents cannot be certified and only non laminated original documents are deemed fit for certification. Further, the courts also don't consider laminated documents as valid ones.

But as for admission if they do not need any stamp or signature from concerned authorities its fine. Its alright that your presentation is good.
