Firstly, NEET exam is an entrance test, which is conducted all over India, for the purpose of getting seat in Government as well as private medical colleges across India. The abbreviation of NEET is as follows National Eligibility Entrance Test.
Secondly, to be eligible for this exam, you need to complete your 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This exam offers totally 90, 000 seats, for getting admission into medical colleges. These include, MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathic Science), BAMS (Ayurvedic Science).
Thirdly, the exam is conducted by National testing Agency, and students also have reservation categories under caste, EWS and PWD. Every year the notification is released by the authorities, and after the exam, three rounds of counselling is held, where you will be allotted seats into various colleges, based on your score or rank.

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is conducted for admission to medical courses in the medical institutions of India as well as of abroad. Primarily there are two types of NEET, NEET UG and NEET PG. NEET UG is conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses in the field of medicine and NEET PG is conducted by NBE for admission to PG courses of medical field. So you can appear for NEET UG since you will complete your class 12th or when you will be appearing for board examinations of class 12th.
NEET UG eligbility criteria :-
** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.
** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it. (You fulfil this)
** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.
** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2022 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.
