You can take admission after class 10th without any entrence exam

There are two scenarios that we might be looking into here

1) First, you are studying in a school, you have given your 10th Board here, and are planning to be admitted to the same school. In that case, no, you don't have to appear for an entrance exam because schools directly admit students from their own institution

2) Second, you have given your 10th Board in a school and are planning on switching schools for further studies. In this case, yes, you have to appear for an entrance exam because schools, when they admit students from other institutions, need to know your stand and your intellectual capabilities in order to assign you a stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts).
