Correct Answer: Rs. 1,000
Solution : Given: Z1 and Z2 together complete a work in 15 days. Their 1 day's work = $\frac{1}{15}$ Z2 alone can complete the same work in 30 days. Z2's 1 day's work = $\frac{1}{30}$ $\therefore$ Z1's 1 day's work = $\frac{1}{15}-\frac{1}{30}=\frac{1}{30}$ So, Z1 alone can complete the same work in 30 days. Their work ratio = 30 : 30 = 1 : 1 The share of Z1 = $\frac{1}{2}\times 2000=$ Rs. 1,000. Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 1,000.
