72 MonthsDoctor Of Philosophy (Ph. D.) in Naval Architecture and Off Shore Engineering shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned Offered by Academy of Maritime Education and Training, Kanathur.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with PG qualification in the appropriate disciplines with a minimum of 55% of marks in the qualifying examinations are eligible.
- Candidates under Full-time category shall do research work in AMET and shall be available during the working hours for curricular, co-curricular and related activities.

- Admission is based on entrance examinations and interview for eligible candidates
- Admission is made Four times in a year (every quarter)
