The Bachelor of Architecture program at AnantU is a 5-year professional degree program approved by the Council of Architecture. The graduate will be eligible to practice as a licensed architect. The pedagogy familiarises students with a range of subjects taught by experts specializing in fields of architecture, engineering, technology, humanities, and fine arts. The program focuses on the overall development of the individual by integrating liberal arts courses with technical know-how. The program emphasizes areas like sustainable architecture, energy-efficient design, urban renewal and design, heritage conservation, and architectural language and aesthetics.

Structured into 10 semesters, the program begins with building the foundation of multidisciplinary skills in students followed by a detailed study of the history of architecture and contemporary theories, architectural design, building construction technology, building environment technology, building services, architectural language among others.


Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for admission to 1st year of the 5-year BArch degree programme for the academic year 2023- 2024 shall be conducted as per Council of Architecture (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations. The eligibility in terms of Regulations is as under:

  • Candidates must have cleared Class XII examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational Subjects or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with a minimum of 45% marks.
  • Alternatively, the candidate must have cleared the 10+3 diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and has a minimum of 45% or equivalent CGPA.
  • Candidate must have qualified in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) examination and secured a valid score
