Infrastructure has big classrooms and better environment with huge libraries, cyber library, playground around 5-6 and hostels with very less money and free wifi and hygienic food. It has botannical garden and many more things to explore.
Academic wise university is good, with good staff and better facilities. Proper practicals are done with every equipment. Faculty is cooperative and very helpful. The syllabus is quite broad and updated .
English hons. Has no placement, you have to pursue further degrees for the placement. Placement is quite corporate oriented . Some companies cone like tcs , wipro and many more but with very less packages.
It costs around 2500 and worth of money.
Good
College infrastructure has all the necessary facilities like central Library, cyber library, free wifi, cheap hostels with hygienic food and wifi. College has sport centres and playground around every hostels.
Academics is fine, with good faculty and staff. Academics syllabus is updated according to the net jrf syllabus, so it does prepare you for the further academics. And allows you to prepare for the research.
Placement is not at all good. Our course has no placement. Other courses may have placements but the quantity is less. Few companies do come like corporate sectors like tcs, wipro etc. With very less packages.
It costs around 2000 and worth of money.
It is outstanding.
Fantastic.
BHU has the biggest campus of 1300acres in India and big library...it has a gym, number of grounds and all important labs. Hostels provide nutritious food white 4 time meal course. Wifi network throughout the campus is available.
The curriculum of BHU is highly updated and based on the latest study pattern by UGC. Quality of teaching is really good and teachers are really supportive. The syllabus prepares us for higher studies and other competitive exams too.
There is Placement cell known as University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau which keeps students updated on the latest jobs and really helps the students in placements. Many departments have direct placements as well.
I don't think there is any other college in this country which provides such a great quality of education in such less cost. This is the best thing about BHU that children who are financially weak can have a great quality of education in one the best central universities of the country. The college fees as well as Hostel fees is really really affordable.
A number of co- curricular activities are conducted by the college time to time. Dance, sports, NSS, NCC, music etc etc. You can develop your skills in whichever field you want. College campus is safe. And college life is best.
Taking admission in this college was one of the best things I've done in my life. I've learnt a lot...made friends...enjoyed my college life...attended concerts, DJ nights and what not. I would really recommend this college.
Yes, my college provide all the necessary infrastructure. It has gym, library, canteen, hostels, hospital, botanical Garden, Computer centre, Free wifi in hostel and campus both, lab for science students, sports Centre, each hostel has its own playground.
I have studied BA (Eng hons.) Because I want to be a professor in English. The faculty of English is well qualified and interact with students on a regular basis. The course syllabus is according to net jrf syllabus which make students ready for further academics.
The placement in my course is very low. It does not provide placement in graduation. You have to go for post graduation and research for jobs. But few corporate sectors do come for students like tcs wipro etc.
The course cost rs. 2000 per year which is very low and worth of money.
Campus life was great and quite fun.
Yes, College provides 2 libraries, gym, and hostel facilities with free wifi. Hostels are quite clean and affordable with best food. Since i am from science background so the labs were so good with all the equipments.
The faculty is quite good and interactive. They took practical on a regular basis almost daily 2 hrs. The syllabus is based on the net jrf syllabus,so it will be very helpful for further academics. And yes the faculty prepare us for jobs.
There is no placement in this subject. Yes,the placement cell exist but the placement in our subject is very low. You have to go for post graduation and the research for the jobs. But few corporate sectors do come for placements.
The cost is very low. It is around 2500 per year and worth of money.
The campus is very beautiful, with a famous temple inside and a huge library and cyber library.
Banaras Hindu University Varanasi Uttar Pradesh is the Asia's largest residential University having luish green and pollution free campus. Our Faculty that is Faculty of commerce is situated in the mid of the campus near the New Vishwanath Temple. Our faculty have more than 200+ numbers of smart classroom having smart boards Having one hostel wit 200 accomodation more than 400 students are staying there also our faculty have the Library fully air conditioning with a peaceful environment that's it
As we are talking about teachers they are so good and helping in nature ☺️ they clear all doubts regarding any topic. They are well qualified and supportive in nature and curriculum and syllabus are also quite good for future making purpose
Placement of our course MFM,MFM-RI and MFT are quite decent as compared to other courses offered in our faculty,There are multiple Multinational companies comes for recruitment of students and package was around 5-6 LPA per annum of an avarage
Definitely our course in our faculty is Value for money ? ,It is one of the finest course in terms of ROI in that you can get 5-6 LPA in returns of 50k rupees
The infrastructure is pretty decent, although a little outdated. We have all the necessary facilities like library, Wi-Fi, health centre and different sports facility provided to us by our University. The university on the whole is really clean but our particular college for BA is not that well looked after.
I am studying Mathematics as it intrigues me. Due to the pandemic, I have attended both online and offline classes. The faculty is great without a doubt. But the two years of online teaching was way below poor. The professors used to teach maths orally(not all). The curriculum is fairly updated. I guess the department takes a call to update the syllabus every few years.
The placements are not generally a thing for BA students. So, there were only few students who got placed in previous batches. But, the administration has made a call to improve that and thus established a separate placement cell for our college other than the university placement committee. They have been striving hard in last couple of months to call the companies. Even Zee News hired a student from our course recently.
The college is the most value for money college across the country. The fees is merely 2000₹ per year. You are provided with all the facilities for this small amount. The library, cyber library, Wi-Fi and health centre facilities are all free. So, the amount we are paying is too less and many a times I have thought that the college is really looking after our needs well. The hostel fees and mess fees is also significantly low compared to other colleges.
The campus has a lot to offer. If you search on google, the university is spread across an area of more than 5km. So, we have a whole lot of grounds and small cafe outlets to chill when we are free from classes. Everyone is helpful most of the time. The campus is located near Assi ghat which is a famous tourist spot and a perfect area for a university. There are a total of 1700 guards in the university I have heard of. Even the Prime Minister has visited us a couple of times.
If you are interested to pursue BA hons, do consider this university for sure. You will have a great environment to study as most of your peers are supportive and studious.
Infrastructure is one the major parameter of prestigious universties. And BHU is well known for it's campus size which cover's about 1350acers main campus followed by 2700acres south campus. It's provide all the facilities of infrastructure.Classrooms are well hygneic and equipped.Library contains all the required books and materials for the students and the environment of the college makes u feel calm nd gives you a gentle vibe!Being a student of this college makes me feel privileged nd well off
Quality education is the spine of every university, and BHU enusres the finest quality of education.faculty comprsing devoted professors .Teachers, staffs all are so disciplined and very knowledgeable.Even though, the classes are being conducted in an online manner ever since I have been enrolled, I must acknowledge that I have been profoundly affected by the eloquence and wisdom of my teachers.
The palacments at BHU is remarkable.About 90% of students are placed every year from every courses.talking about engineering field IIT BHU ranked 11th position by NIRF ranking 2020.The average salary package range between 15-20LPA while the highest package even reaches to crore. Also faculty of Law was ranked among Top 5college for law, and have amazing package palacement.
If you're looking for a quality education and wants to ensure better future ahead Banaras Hindu University is totally worthy.it offers wide range of courses at nominal fee.Courses like BA/Bcom/MA etc ranged from 3000-5000per year.and course like B.tech/B.pharma ranged from 1lakh to 1.5lakh.
BHU campus is located at lanka road. Campus of BHU is beautiful. The holy temple (Vishwanath mandir) makes the environment of campus more positive and divine.Overall campus look is very significant you can easily reach to the university as various transportation facilities are there. In case of any emergency BHU provides free medical facilities to it's students.
"Madhur Manohar Ateev Sundar,Ye sarva vidya ki Rajdhani," these opening lines of BHU's Kulgeet reflect the essence of the varsity in the most veristic manner.Apart from being the largest nd oldest University of the country, it has many other striking features, which place it on a pedestal in India's academic landscape.Being a perfect amalgamation of academics nd co-curricular, a refulgent campus teeming with students from across country and abroad;an environment that fosters competitive thinking.
BHU has various auditoriums and seminar complexes dedicated to different departments and institutes with great seating capacity. Classrooms have LCD Projectors and each department has it's own library. BHU has a huge Central Library and an e-library as well. Various sports centers are available including cricket, football, basketball, tennis, badminton. There are many hostels, different for each institute and have a personal ground. The 1300 acre campus is very clean and well-maintained.
BHU has been ranked 3rd by NIRF. This reason is enough to be a student here. I'm pursuing B.Sc in Biology. The faculty is quite encouraging, well-founded, and the professors are great mentors. The lab work is very engaging and the labs are well equipped. The curriculum is up to date and the professors are knowledgeable about the recent developments in their field. The faculty is quite accommodating in terms of the transition from school to university.
Although I have not been exposed to the placement aspect of college life as my course does not make me qualified for jobs in my field, the other departments and higher courses seem to have some good placements.
My course cost me around 5000 per year which has also been greatly reduced owing to the pandemic. While the quality of education is worth the money before, even now many teachers have adapted very well to online teaching and have devised newer and more involving teaching techniques. But in all, the quality has gone down especially concerning the lab work as students aren't exposed to it as of now.
BHU has a lush green, huge and incredible campus which is also a tourist attraction. There are small shops and eateries all around the campus. It is open for all as it has the Vishwanath Temple. Students are free to move around. The teachers, staff, and students all are very understanding and helpful. Being a tourist attraction it is always crowded but is safe and can handle medical emergencies as has a medical college and hospital where students and staff get preference in case of requirement.
Apart from a great campus and hostel life, various departments attract scholars from all over India. Many departments have state-of-the-art facilities especially those that are leading in research. BHU Campus life is very encouraging in terms of fests and cultural celebrations. There are facilities for learning different foreign languages and sports and other art forms as well. There are a plethora of activities to engage in. I consider myself fortunate to have experienced this campus life.
Yes the atmosphere in BHU is quite amiable and it never fails to awe you. It has an amazing and huge central and cyber library. Berry faculty has their own personal library and each department owns one mini library. So, you will never feel dearth of book here.
The faculties are really amazing they have an in depth knowledge of the subject and the opportunities in BHU are quite decent. Teachers are quite friendly and enthusiastic about their subjects, they will make you fall for it.
In BA and MA we don't have placements, that is the only negative thing about this place. Sometimes we get opportunities outside the city, but due to the Strict curriculum of BHU you will have to attend every day classes and maintain the attendance at 75%.
We minimal, it is highly highly affordable.
BHU campus itself is full of life and vigour it fills our heart with desire and enthusiasm.
I love this 'Mahamana ki bagiya'. It has given me everything what I was looking for.
