My college i.e. laxmibai , du is a overall good in infrastructure and it was better than my expectations . There is a new building also where there are tvs , mics, and speakers in each classrooms . The washrooms are nice too but sometimes lacks cleaniness . The problem is with drinking water apart than that there is canteen that as avg food and also a mother dairy which sells icecreams.
I am pursuing BA pol sci hons as i was interested in political science . The teachers here are nice and and helping (except some) . The teachers know both hindi and english so there is no problem from hindi medium students too . I think the curriculum is somewhat updated i dont have much knowledge but yes we sure gain so much knowledge.
I dont know much about placements , but i don't think that there is a great opportunity for placements . As i am pursuing a political science degree i dont know about placements and all . I am not sure about placements of this college.
My course is 13000rs something per year so i think it is good enough and much affordable too and yess i think i am getting my money's worth as our college has good infrastructure and faculty.
Our college campus is very basic like it has enough space but they can make better use of it like there is no auditorium in college and also while conducting fests and all they dont put much effort to it. As it is a govt college and also a part of prestigious university , there are students from different states . Also our college is a only girls college . Support staff is good i think it does it work okayish .
The infrastructure is simple but good. Clean classrooms, good libraries with adequate collection of books, and computer labs are a feature of most colleges affiliated to DU. Some colleges are better off with smart classrooms and auditoriums, but others still have more conventional arrangements.
The curriculum is really updated , and the B.Com course is well-planned with a strong base in Accountancy, Business Law, Economics, Taxation, and Auditing. The university also offers exposure through seminars, industry talks, and workshops. Most of the professors are well-informed and helpful, making students ready both academically and practically.
The placement situation at DU for students of B.Com is good but mainly based on personal skills and interview performance. The Central Placement Cell gets a number of good companies such as HDFC Bank, Deloitte, Genpact, and KPMG, but most of the good placements are typically seen for students of MBA and M.Com. For B.Com students at the undergraduate level, there are openings, but for obtaining the top positions, the students must take initiative, undertake internships, and create profiles in advance.
The facilities differ greatly among DU colleges, but in my experience, libraries are well-equipped, and most classrooms have projectors and Wi-Fi. There are special reading rooms, common rooms, and decent sports facilities. Some buildings look somewhat old and need maintenance. Canteens are reasonable and provide nice food, but no luxury! There are also some student societies and clubs which keep the campus life lively.
Most of the professors are Ph.D. holders and authors of good textbooks. The course structure is wide, including fundamental subjects such as accounting, business law, economics, and taxation, and there is a good emphasis on theoretical and practical knowledge. Some teachers follow some conventional methods, but in general, they are helpful and cooperative and clear the doubts. The semester exams are moderately difficult, but with continuous study, it's okay.
Placements at DU are mainly depends on the college and the students interviews, almost 95 percent of students got selected every year from the campus the median package comes to about 4–5 LPA, the highest reaching up to 12 LPA in exceptional instances.
A well-developed college infrastructure plays a vital role in providing a conducive environment for learning, research, and overall student development. Infrastructure plays a very important role in any college.
Great experience in academic as well...well educated professor..good way of teaching. Innovative way of explaining concepts so every student can easily grab the concept. I am studying for bachelor degree of commerce.
Placement was also kind of good you can say. Many companies approach the college for placement and most of the students gets placement through college. And about what percentage you can score.to get placement is depend on the companies... other than percentage you have to clear the interview round as well in which you have to present yourself in a good way .
Good value of money
Not live a typically campus life but I can say it is good
Nope
The infrastructure of our college is very good. I like the infrastructure of my college It's very big also. Infrastructure is very big of our college. Buildings and all are very great. Both the buildings are nice.
There is a good academic background of our college. All teachers teach us everything and in very good and lovable way. I like the academics background of my college. Our college is on top on academics.
Placement cell of our college is very good. They provide opportunities for the students. Many students got placed also and in very big companies. They got s very decent package. Internship and placement opportunities both are good.
Worthy
Enjoyable
Yes we are having a proper infrastructure in our college but in some areas there's lack of consciousness. also our college is not having a wifi connection for students ,labs are good but classrooms are like extremely hot in summer... Bearing that level of heat is sometimes goes out of hand .. hygiene is good there but some washrooms are not well maintained they smell bad and not having proper handwash system they are also not having proper pad system for girls only have Machines for napkins but don't have napkins in it.
Good academic and some teachers are just wow Everything is well updated but having exceptions in some cases . My studies doesn't much helping me with mt future job prospects I think they should work on their time table and should remove the additional subjects
Not that much good . There's not much worthing package for any course .. .....one can get good package but not as per there expectations.. i don't have that much knowledge about that so I don't have much words to say
It's affordable.. ya my money is worth there
No one interfere in anyone's matter I don't think there's that much unity there
Placements should be improved and should have a proper schedule...they should focus more on practical life rather than just books
Overall, DU's infrastructure is considered good, with many colleges providing modern facilities, spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and extensive libraries.
