48 MonthsBachelor of Design (B.Des) is a full-time four-year duration course undergraduate offered by Gauhati University, Guwahati, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have 10+2 (any stream) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Admission Details
Candidates seeking admission to the B. Des program through the Direct Entry Scheme must qualify for either the Central Institute of Technology Bachelor of Design Admission Test (CITBDAT) conducted by CIT Kokrajhar or the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination of Design (UCEED) conducted by IIT Bombay. 60% of the intake is allotted for CITBDAT and the rest of the seats are allotted for UCEED-qualified candidates.
