Charutar Vidya Mandal University (CVMU) was established in the year 2019 is a state private University is located in Anand, Gujarat. Occupying the vast land of 620 acre, CVMU present 171 courses across 37 degree programmes of study. This university has a strength of 337 faculty members and a total of 7,124 students. CVMU is recognised by University Grant Commission (UGC) & it offers admission based on NEET, JEE Main, GUJCET scores etc., 

Charutar Vidya Mandal University is well endow with teaching and learning resources to facilitate the achievement of its mission and vision. The campus has equipped a library where the members can find more than 2000 books and other portfolio, theses and reports for lending. For individual departments in the capacity of CVMU, labs are well-equipped with sophisticated teaching model and equipment, which offers students practical experience during experiments. This has an air conditioned computerised IT laboratory with internet connected over twenty-five computers available for students’ projects. The university also provides the basic computer training course to ascertain the students as the computer literate.

It presents a choice of courses within a broad spectrum of disciplines can be studied at CVMU. These are 171 courses offered by the university which include under graduate, post graduate and doctoral level programmes. Among the offered programmes there are B.Tech in Internet of Things, BE in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and many others programmes in engineering, management, law, pharmacy, sciences etc. The comprehensiveness of the university means that the institution also offers courses that are cutting across a wide range of fields, faculties and disciplines. 

The major source of admission in CVMU institute is merit and entrance examination admittance procedures. Undergraduate admission procedures are in general carried out through state level tests such as GUJCET or national level tests for engineering courses like JEE Main as well as medical courses entrance test NEET etc. The postgraduate admission criteria tends to include the candidate’s performance in the undergraduate degree programme and may include test such as GATE or institution specific tests for admission. It also accepts applications for a number of other scholarships, but the details of all these programmes are not disclosed. 

The college has a diverse student community where 95% of students are from Gujarat, 5% from other states of India for Marathi people there are very few for the college total few international student also study in this college. The sex distribution of students remains fair for male students who account for 80% and female students being 20% of the students in their undergraduate class.
