Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Part-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

A Master's Degree in Law from any recognized University having scored a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate With a view to encouraging interdisciplinary studies and research with a strong legal component, the APUL encourages candidates from other disciplines also to register for a Ph.D. full-time programme.
