Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University doctoral fellowship (DSU-Doctoral Fellowship) shall be awarded to the meritorious full-time research scholars based on the recommendation by the selection committee and approval by the Dean - Centre for Research.
A stipend of Rs. 20,000 per month will be provided by DSU Trichy for the eligible candidates. In addition to the stipend, a contingency grant of Rs. 50,000 per annum will also be supported to the candidates.
The fellowship is provided for a minimum of 2 years, and it may be extended for another one year based on the research progress of the Ph.D. scholar. It is encouraged that the candidates should obtain their own funding as a JRF/SRF from UGC, CSIR, and more. Selection of candidates is based on the pre-registration eligibility entrance exam and interview.
