About BRAOU Hyderabad
Dr BR Ambedkar Open University (Dr BRAOU) Hyderabad was established in the year 1982 through an Act of the A.P. State Legislature. Dr BR Ambedkar University Hyderabad was inaugurated by the former President of India, the Late Sri Gyani Zail Singh. Dr BR Ambedkar University Hyderabad was formerly known as Andhra Pradesh Open University. Later on in the year 1991, the Government of Andhra Pradesh renamed the institute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University Hyderabad.
Dr BR Ambedkar University Hyderabad has been recognised by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. College living space areas and classrooms are clean. But the college doesn't provide the facilities like laboratries, libraries, sports centres and hostels. Wifi, and smart board are very far to think of it.

All facilities are provided to a certain extent. Campus infrastructure is ok. Classrooms are old. The living area is not that hygienic. Management should take special care in cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation.
