The demand for exacting and well-educated chefs continues to grow, as the hospitality industry soars in India. Thriving tourism and heightened food awareness among locals is turning attention toward epicurean excellence, creating employment opportunities for student chefs. Modern culinary arts school graduates work in the restaurant, hotel, and air flight kitchens. Positions as caterers, private chefs, owner/operators, and even instructors are also growing in numbers. Hence we feel a specialized Professional Degree in Culinary Art is a requirement of the day. We are focused entirely on teaching practical skills in a state of the art cookery school which is supportive and fun, whilst also ensuring our students develop the high levels of discipline required to cook beautiful food to the highest standards. To ensure this the program involves more Practical demonstrations and workshops which will be conducted by experienced faculty and Celebrity Chefs specializing in various Cuisines. The BSc in Culinary Studies is a 3year program which encompasses 2 years of classroom studies and practical and 1year of paid Internship in leading 5star hotels across India. School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies has a tie-up with the University College of Birmingham UK, which will enable students to do their Internships at the UK. We are focused on ensuring our graduates leave us with a complete range of culinary skills which will enable them to adapt to any environment where food really matters, and to present themselves as highly skilled and inspirational chefs, with exciting career prospects ahead of them.
a) A candidate should have XII std. examination with a minimum of 35 % marks in any stream of any state board or university for admission to a graduate degree program.
b) He/She should have completed graduation with a minimum of 35% marks for the Master’s program from any state/university.
c) Direct entry into the second year for any student who has completed a three-year diploma program in hotel management from any recognized board in India or abroad.
d) For the certificate course the candidate should have cleared 10th std. exam with a minimum of 35% marks from any recognized state board for seeking admission.
Infrastructure is good . For culinary kitchens and classroom are specially designed. advance kitchen is well equipped kitchen with all modern equipments for students to use.. and quantity kitchen has equipments for bulk cooking .. which gives students a dept knowledge about banquet kitchens
There are best in class equipment in th kitchen. Classroom are well maintained and teachers pay personal attention to students. Kitchen are industry like. Hostel are good and also well maintained. And they are best for students from other cities.
