About Dravidian University, Kuppam

The Dravidian University Kuppam in Andhra Pradesh, was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh through a Legislature Act (No.17 of 1997), with the initial support extended by the governments of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. The primary objective of Dravidian University Kuppam was to promote the development of Dravidian languages, literature and cultures, thus paving the way for cultural and emotional integration of all the regions that carry forward the ancient historical torch of the nation.

Dravidian University Kuppam offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programmes in the field of Engineering, Management, Arts, Education, Commerce, Hospitality and Tourism and Sciences. Courses at Dravidian University Kuppam include B.Sc, BA, BBM, B.P.Ed, BSW, B.Com and B.Ed at undergraduate level and PGD, M.Phil, MA, M.Sc, MCA, MBA, M.Ed and M.Com at postgraduate level.

Dravidian University Kuppam which started with just two departments in 1999, has now grown into a strong institution with 27 academic departments and 4 centres. Dravidian University Kuppam is an inter-state institution that integrates traditional knowledge systems and modern scientific approaches to provide quality education to its students.

Dravidian University Kuppam has been accredited with "B" Grade by NAAC in the year 2018 and stands in the range of 150-200 in the NIRF ranking. Dravidian University Kuppam campus is maintained clean and green, thanks to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which has been sanctioning funds for the same.
