DY Patil Agriculture and Technical University, Talsande: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

D. Y. Patil Agriculture and Technical University was started in the year 2021, DYP ATU is a private university located at Talsande Maharashtra, India. Located in a vast area of 200 acres, the university presently has 45 courses in various discipline like Engineering, Management, Commerce and Agriculture etc. DYP ATU is UGC recognized university aimed at delivering quality education in a stimulating learning environment. Currently, the university has a faculty of 1007 members which help the university to produce academic programs and carry out productive research in order to address the dynamic needs of the industry and society. 

Universities has well equipped lifestyle that facilitates both curricular activities and co- curricular activities and the university has well equipped facilities. The library is well-endowed with a rich set of textbooks, references, magazines; and journals; in addition to the digital library with internet link. In this regard, students have access to a well furnished gym for their physical fitness. Other amenities include; cemented basketball courts and a volleyball court for lovers of sports. The campus also provides different hostel facilities for boys’ and girls only for those who want to stay in the school compound. Further, the university also bear transport facilities regarding which the university has total 11 buses to carry out various activities such as industrial trips and regular pick and drop. DYP ATU has the following academic programs on offer, thirteen undergraduate degrees, postgraduate courses and doctoral programs. 

Course presented by the university are as follows Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Commerce and Management. It possible to obtain a full time program as well as the degree aimed at research, which provide a vast choice for students with different field of study and further career plan. Although, there is no exact figure of intakes of every course offered, the university’s goal is to intake a large number of students in its programs offered. 

DYP ATU utilizes different procedures for admission depending on the course and program level of the institution. The University for the general undergraduate requirements normally adopts merit as the main entry requirement. Creating this list I encountered some courses that require entrance examinations and others that take into account academic performance in qualifying examinations. Kolhapur Railway Station is the closest station, at 27 kilometers away, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is also situated 27 kilometers away. This is an ideal location as far as students are concerned as it provides them with an environment suitable for learning but at the same time neighboring on some urban trappings.
