The infrastructure and facilities in the university is excellent. There is a good wifi connection inside the campus as well as in the hostels. There is a well maintained library, computer laboratory and sport centres.
We received a quality teaching. The curriculum is well updated and includes recent developments in the field. We are provided with good study materials and quality lectures. The style of teaching can be understood by everyone.
There is a well functioned placement cell in the university that organized placement programs for the students before the end of the semesters. The placement process was well planed and I we easy for the students to get in to different placement programs.
As it is a central university, the amount paid for the course is cheap as compared to private Universities. The course fees differ based on the category we belong to (General, ST, SC..etc). We are getting the money's worth.
The campus life is one of the best thing the university offered ^_^. The campus is safe and well guarded 24/7. So, the night life in campus is really safe even for the girls. Students can engage in different social activities inside the campus.
Clean and better hostels but have ventilation problem in rooms. Women hostel food is comparatively better than other colleges. Most areas in girls hostel has wifi connectivity issue. Classrooms are really lacking in good modern infrastructure and other facilities.
Studying korean. Super outdated curriculum. Don't ever think about getting any help from the teachers regarding jobs and all. Leave future, teachers don't even make you ready for the present scenario. Always aspire for korean language university in Delhi, don't come here. You will only find better opportunities there.
Not at all. Minus chances of placement. Placement cell is invisible. This cell is just on papers since ages. Minus support from teachers. If you do anything by yourself then it's good, otherwise you know what will happen.
Pocket friendly fees. Financial assets for economically weaker sections.
Safe location and safe campus. Girls hostel staff is good but dealing with hostel authority requires huge patience. No campus life. No celebrations of festivals. Only students - organised celebrations takes place, which are in the radar of the administrative authorities. They are not in support of these celebrations. The open amphitheatre is just for decoration. Absolutely zero support from the teachers.
For central government universities, try to search for New Delhi. (For humanities as this university is only for arts and humanities)
Small but a very green campus. Facilities are available but don't expect to enjoy those very much as they tend to lock everything, apparently. ? Not alot of activities go around in the campus but in comparison to the area its okay.
Academic wise, you can learn a lot but then again, like most the education places you have to study on your own. Our department head teacher is really good and understand what students want, so I'm satisfied.
Not aware of this cell or how it works, for I've never come in contact with it or saw it in action. Also, our freshly graduated seniors are struggling on their own to get internships or/& jobs. No placement from the University.
Yeah, value for money for sure. A government university where you're playing nothing according to the private universities and getting to learn a lot. Foreign language students do come in contact with some basic level cultural activities.
Well, celebrations & events organised, mostly by the students and sometimes by the university itself, is enjoyable. Haven't witnessed anything as grand as JNU, DU, etc but when they do, they do it well.
The campus is small but clean and well maintained. The classrooms are equipped with the requirements. Hostels are also good and really cheap. Except, the cleanliness of the washrooms is a bit questionable. There is a well maintained library and a sports complex too.
The teaching and the teachers differ from department to department. I’m doing my BA in Japanese and the teachers of the Japanese department are very helpful. With the change in the duration of the degree i.e. from 3 to 4 years, the curriculum has been well updated and thus, I believe is pretty beneficial.
Once again, the placement also depends on the department. Some departments have provide very nice placements whereas some might not. Few of the departments are the pretty new, so that makes sense. Overall, the placement is fine.
Because it’s a central university, the expenses are pretty less. Wether it’d be the course fee or the hostel fee, everything is very cheap. The mess fee differs based on one’s hostel. But overall, it’s worth it.
The campus is small and for most of the part peaceful. There is a lot of freedom on the campus, with no curfew. The campus is safe with sufficient security. As for the activities, there’s always some sort of event or celebration going on for one to engage. Students are from many different cultures and thus, one get to see, learn and enjoy a lot of new things. The location of the campus is fine, with the nearest metro station being a 10 minutes walk away from the campus.
The infrastructure of the campus is really good.it does have all the required facilities including library, 5 hostels( 3 national ,2 international), Library, sports complex, joggers parkgym etc . All these places are very clean and hygienic. The campus is surrounded with green trees and us in a very peaceful environment. The food at the campus is also very good at a decent price
I am currently studying B.A(hons .) Korean and so far I am enjoying the course. The teaching us pretty good and the faculty is very helpful and use very effective teaching methods. The curriculum is very updated and we do have some other activities that induce many other additional skills into our curriculum.
Korean language department is a newly established department in EFLU . So, I am yet to know about the placements in our department. But the overall placements are fine . Most of the students do get placed in good companies.
Per semester, the sem fees is about 2500 rupees, ither than this there are other expenses like mess bill, hostel fee. But all of these are pretty reasonable and the university is very affordable . The teaching and facilities in the campus are amazing and definitely are worth the money.
There are several activities in the campus that one can engage in. There are several clubs like dance club, music club, theatre club and many more.. Many seminars and talks are also held often in the campus. Other than this tournaments of various sports lime cricket, football, table tennis etc are also held.
Overall this campus is one of the best universities to study languages and i would highly recommend this. This campus is definitely worth it.
The college provides a really good and informative library. The students have an easy access to the library but the library timings need to be more flexible. The college has all necessary equipments, infrastructure and facilities but they are not always available for the students.
I'm pursuing MA English literature. The teachers are well qualified and helpful. The materials provided are also quite productive and informative. The curriculum is updated and well organised which makes it easy for the students.
There aren't much placements in the campus. Only a few companies come for placements. The college should look into the matter and provide students with good career opportunities. I'm unaware about the percentage of students placed and the highest salary package offered.
My course costs around Rs5000 per year. The quality of education is really worth it. The teachers are well qualified and helpful. The materials provided are also productive and informative. The curriculum is also quite updated and well organised.
The campus life has been really fun and the college has all facilities and infrastructures for the student but the only problem is that these cannot be accessed by the students anytime. There is a lot of restrictions and the administration is not at all student friendly. The campus also lacks a proper open ground.
Hello aspirant
Rules and regulations are strictly follwed in girls hostel. You are not allowed to go out but if your parents visit your city or if they have come to meet you and staying in hotel then you will be allowed to stay with them for Saturday and Sunday. You can go out with them. I know about bits Goa. There is huge campus mess is in another building , food and meals are provided with time table if you get late you will be going to miss the meal and canteen is open whole day for that you have to pay extra . On sundays you will be given special menu like pizza or food of your choice . No outside food is allowed.
In the first year you will share room with your roommate and from second year you will have separate room.
