It also includes about the pathogenicity of the microorganism and etiology of the diseases. The students will also learn the application of bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses in traditional (food, dairy, wine, antibiotics, fermentation, etc.), biotechnological industries, agricultural industries and  environmental sciences.
