The college infrastructure is functional yet somewhat outdated. Classrooms lack modern amenities and while the library offers essential resources , more digital offerings and extended hours would be more . Campus is neat and clean.

In the university there are many faculty , maximum of them are completed their Ph.D . and they share their knowledge it is useful for our higher studies. explanation in the classes are good. curriculum is changed according to the industry requirement.

The placements of the college is fantastic. All most 90% of the students get placed. The average package offered was 5 lakh per annum and the highest package was 14 lakh per annum and that package goes to the marketing field.

The infrastructure is very good for us and our hostel and classrooms are well maintained. There is sometimes issue of water and electricity, mess food is fine, the library is awesome. The wifi is an issue at times.

The curriculum is up to date. Professors cab be cooperative if one is willing to reach up to them and ask for advice. They have become strict with the attendance lately. The institute is known for being one of the oldest in India for economic reasearch.

The placement cell is active. Although the placements have not gone very high last year and this year as of yet. The packages offered are average, and the ratio of placement is yet to be observed and seen

The total course is of about 4.5 lakhs for the 2 years. This excludes the hostel fees, which is extra. The course cost somewhat is close to cost of courses offered in MSE and IIFT. But yes, what would be the return of it depends on the students.

The location is a prime location in Pune, although a bit expensive. There are treks all around, greenery and a lot of people. Good if you can use it well. The location is safe, close to the railway station of Pune, hence easily reachable.

Gokhale institute of politics and economics is situated at deccan in Pune. The campus is more than 90 years old and was founded by servants of the Indian society. Though it has limited space there is tall building of 6 floors where most of our classes takes place. The new academic building has very unique features which were not available before like digital classrooms and meeting rooms for students. The college also has a huge library named after famous economist D. Gadgil.

I am currently studying MA economics at GIPE. The course curriculum undoubtedly caters the future needs and make students job ready. Our teachers are NET qualified and few are PhD holders as well that too from abroad universities. College conducts regular unit tests along with semester end exams and tons of assignments which will make you to leave this course and go for a vacation because the course curriculum is designed in such a way that students will not get any time for leisure.

Placements are very good of compared it to other colleges because our recruiters are MNCs. Last year 70% students from MA economics course got job offers from companies like PWC, EY. Average package after completing your masters from GIPE will definitely be more than 6LPA. Few exceptional students get up to 15LPA for their exceptional academic record. The placement cell is very helpful to everyone. You can start appearing for placements from in your final semester.

The fees are little bit high as compared to other colleges in the same category. And there is no EMI facility so you need to pay the fees for one year at one time which is not possible for everyone.

Campus life is not that great if you do not have many friends.

The infrastructure is ok-ok. The college campus is beautiful but most of the building are given to corporate companies on rental basis. College recently built a new academic building which is very big and have digital classrooms and seminar halls. College security is very poor and campus is not cover with CCTV cameras. The CCTV camera are installed only around the main building. Anyone can enter in college even if the person is not a student of GIPE which raises security concerns.

I am currently studying BSc agribusiness economics, I chose this course because my father is a farmer and I have seen a farmer's difficulties since my childhood. The curriculum is good and it will introduce you to the problems of Indian agriculture sector. Teachers have experience of working on the ground hence they convey the real problems of the economy and not just theoretical knowledge.

I was really surprised after seeing college placement records of the past students. Though college lacks some aspects and needs improvements, no one can point a finger about the placements. Average placement salary after completing masters is more than 45,000 per month. Majority of the students get placement from big companies after finishing masters.

Our college has descent infrastructure like library, big classrooms, seminar hall etc. Sad thing is college does not have any sports ground so if you are into sports then I would not recommend you to take admission here. Another sad part is college lacks a canteen where students can hangout and chill after attending boring lecture. Apart from these 2 things, rest is okay!

I have enrolled in BSc economics course which was started by the college in recent years so college does not have much experience in running a bachelors course because earlier the college only used to offered post graduation courses including research as well. Our course needs little bit improvement which I am sure will be there as the time passes and they become experience in offering bachelors degree as well.

Best thing is at least placements are good because our college has tie-ups with different research institutions and other companies. You will get a better package as compared to other colleges in Pune offering the same course. The average salary after completing your bachelors degree from GIPE will be somewhere around 40,000 per month which is quite impressive for a fresher.

My college has recently built a new academic building for students in which every classroom has digital boards, smart learning devices and some classes have air conditioners as well. Though the college campus is small the planning is impressive and there are more than 10 buildings for different sections. College does not have sports ground. The hostel campus of the college is located far from the main campus which causes little difficulty for students.

I am in the third year of BSc economics course. Our course curriculum is well designed and updated with each new development in the field of economics. Teaching quality is good because there are experienced teachers and newly joined teachers as well. The curriculum definitely makes you job ready.

The placement quality is good so far. Almost, half of the class gets job offers from big corporations every year. Most of the jobs are offered to Masters students but bachelors students also got few attractive packages in recent years. The average package is around 5LPA.

Gokhale institute is one of the premier institutes in Maharashtra. The campus is situated in the heart of the city. Recently the college has upgraded the infrastructure by building a block which contains all facilities like digital boards, computer labs, research labs etc. Our college has a big library which is the best place to study without any disturbance. There is lot of greenery on the campus. College hostel can accommodate more than 500+ students. The food of the mess is also very tasty.

I study in 2nd year MA in economics. I took admission in Gokhale because its reputation in the field of economics. The faculties are graduates from top tier institutes across the India. The course curriculum focuses more on practical applications of the theory and makes you industry ready withing just 2 years. Many prominent people come to our college to deliver talks and share their opinions on different issues.

More than half of the students in each division gets placement every year. If we talk about average placement package then it would be somewhere around 6 lakhs. Some people have managed to get jobs in top MNCs like EY, Deloitte, KPMG etc. Highest package offered was more than 17 lakh. College's placement cell is very supportive and help you at every stage of the placement process.

The college has excellent infrastructure and provides all the necessary facilities that are accessible to everyone. The hostels are well maintained, although there is room for improvement in the food quality. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and every including library. New infrastructure projects are underway to enhance the overall campus facilities.

Currently I am studying in the final year of my bachelor's degree that is BSc in economics. I took admission in this college because I had heard good reviews from peers, and I am glad to say that it does stand on its reputation. The curriculum trains you perfectly for future opportunities and makes you job ready.

Placements are also good. After finishing your bachelor's you can get around 5-6LPA and if you are exceptional in the academics then it can go beyond 10LPA as well. One of my senior was placed in a MNC with the package of 12 LPA.

Fees are little high because it is a private college but after getting placed in a good company you will not regret paying that much for a bachelor's degree. average fees are between 80K-130K depending upon your course and caste as well. The fees are less for those who does not opt for hostel facilities.

The campus is not that big and most of the people are busy in their lives but during annual festival college days hits different.

The infrastructure is quite good. Recently college has finished the construction of new academic building well equipped with projectors and digital boards in each classrooms, Seminar hall, Common space for recreation activities etc. The old buildings are beautiful from architectural point of view. The library is spacious enough to accommodate more than 300 students at a time.

I am studying MSc economics at GIPE. I chose Gokhale institute because it comes in top 10 institutions for studying economics in India. The curriculum is great but its too rigorous, you won't get any time for yourself once you start your course. There is continuous evaluation of your performance through tests so you don't get any time to enjoy other things. things.

Every year over 70% of the students gets placed in renowned companies. Students become eligible for placements starting from 3rd semester onwards. Prominent companies like JPMC, Axix bank, HSBC, EXL, EY, City bank actively participates in the placement process. The highest offered package stands at approximately 15LPA, while average package hovers around 6LPA.
