Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Geo-informatics is a modern discipline which integrates acquisition, modeling, analysis and management of spatially referenced data i.e. data identified according to their locations.  It is a vital technology in the management of natural resources, environmental modeling, and analysis. It is an indispensable tool for disaster management and its preparedness. It uses GIS, GPS and Remote sensing techniques to acquire spatial and other data.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed with the B.Tech. (CE/ AE/ GI/ CS/ EC/ IT), B.Sc. (4 Years)-Forestry/ Horticulture/ Geography, M.Sc/ MA (Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geophysics/ Geography/ GI/ Physics/ Maths/ Oceanography/ Environmental Science) with minimum 65% marks aggregate from any recognized university.

Admission Details

Admission is based on Valid GATE Score / Merit, Personal Interview.
