Best campus and surroundings are eye catchy

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The campus is pictury, with modern classrooms, well-furnished library, and advanced finance labs. Hostels are cozy, but Wi-Fi speed is inconsistent. Mess food is decent, and there are sports facilities.

    Academics

The curriculum is covered with courses such as financial management, risk analysis, and investment methods. Faculty emphasizes practical exposure, but more access to Bloomberg terminals would be beneficial. Case studies and workshops are one of the positives.

    Placements

55% of the students are placed in investment houses, fintech firms, and banking corporations with pay packages of ₹5-9 LPA. Internships are critical, and cracking high-numeric finance roles requires students to acquire CFA or FRM certification.

    Value for Money

The cost is moderately high, but the education quality, placements, and industry exposure are all worth the expense. Scholarship is available for deserving students, but not for the ones who are in need

    Campus Life

Guest lectures from industry leaders and stock market exposure along with the finance club enrich campus life. Fests and cultural festivals organized once a year make campus life vibrant, and MBA life is pleasant.

Satisfied with my college in terms of infrastructure, faculty

    College Infrastructure

The quality of classrooms and campus did not meet the standards of the fee charged. There are well-furnished classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, sports grounds, and all necessary facilities . They charge around 1 lacs for the hostel per year, so I suggest you to find a PG or rent a room. The hostel food is average, and there are canteens and snack shops where the food is good but priced accordingly.

    Academics

The curriculum is average. The faculty is great no doubt.. There are labs and career skills classes but you need to study on your own if you want good placements. They are very good with their subjects and have amazing teaching quality. As far as the semester exams are concerned, it is well designed by the faculty but the papers were designed by another Graphic Era's Campuses.

    Placements

Graphic Era Hill University and currently pursuing B.Tech CSE. In this batch, they have around 4-5k students. there are good placements in when I got admission, with an average package of 7.5 LPA.However, for 2019 and 2022, the data is not provided, and placements are lower due to the recession. Both service-based and product-based companies visit, with most being mass recruiters.

Each department has its dedicated lab rooms equipped with licensed software. The campus provides high -speed Wi-Fi and has camera facilities in every department. The mess serves only vegetarian food.

    Academics

Curriculum is well updated and includes all recent developments and get a job if well performed and the teachers are very supportive and helpful and provide notes and various study material and carrier.

    Placements

I truly appreciate my college's proactive approach in offering these activities from the first year onwards, as they have significantly contributed to our readiness for the industry. The placement cell has been instrumental in connecting students with numerous recruiting companies.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very good and the environment inside the college is also very good, and the location too. There are plenty of hostels every thing like a grocery store or a PG nearby to the college

    Academics

According to me our college is only good for engineering, somebody going in for a course like me is going to regret. There are no good faculties neither the take classes according to time, nor they teach according to syllabus and want the students to give assignment and exams on time

    Placements

Placements for other departments than B.Tech is near around 10 to 15 %. The college only highlights the students of engineering, for the rest they don't give bother, just want the fees on time and no placements even though I had more than 8 CGPA. Only one company came for hiring but in 3rd Semester when not a single of us knew what we have to do. And the company came for game developers .

    Value for Money

Fees is very high, if you got UK domicile you can afford through scholarship but, for others it's a lil costly. And no placements after that too. They ask for extra money if you fail to maintain a percentage of marks, you're given scholarship for.

    Campus Life

Campus life is good, other than the formal dress code.

    Others

If you want to spend a good time in the hills, and you have a business or any other source to earn, other than the course you are choosing from the University it's good

    A pretty decent college

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

its decent overall. It has every basic necessity. The deemed campus gives it an extra hand. It has a big sports ground for basketball, volleyball, football. it also has a sports arena with the indoor games like chess and tt and badminton. The campus has a cafeteria, 2 floor library, mac lab, iot lab, computer center , computer lab, design lab, workshops, phy chem electronics electrical lab. i am in btech so this is acc to my needs.

    Academics

the academics are okay. it cannot be changed as it is according to the law but still it can be improved by removing some subjects. the faculties are mostly graduated from hill university itself but they are pretty smart and cooperative.

    Placements

they are just average. The ratio isn't good but the packages which are offered are top notch. the average salary per student is around 4 lpa which is considered average in the engineering industry. the students will need to work hard and outshine almost every one in their batch.

    Value for Money

This university has a lot of scholarships which makes it a good option for value of money. This university offers diversity scholarships for both non uttarakhandis and uttrakhandis. It also has a merit based scholarship of your jee score and 12 marks.

    Campus Life

The one thing which is almost perfect is its college llife. many fests, cooperative and friendly students and faculties which can be considered a plus point for the non social students who are joining.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

this college itself has only one building , it is the deemed university campus that gives it the extra hand. the main building has all the basic facilities and its a pretty posh building. With a 3 floor library, a cafeteria, mac lab ,computer labs, iot labs, phy chem elec labs , open auditorium, seminar halls and lecture theater. The university has a big sports ground for football basketball and volleyball, it also has a sports arena for badminton, tabletennis, chess and other indoor sports.

    Academics

many of the faculties here are hill university graduates but are pretty smart and cooperative. some might need a push but will help the students in the end. there are some strict faculties for sure. I am currently pursuing btech and the first year subjects are not worth studying but they are compulsory in every other so there is nothing to complain about.

    Placements

The placements are okay. average. The ratio isn't good but those who get the placements are high end packages. The reason for low placement ratio is the because of the students because they come here to chill and relax not for placements so there are a lot of students but the actual competition breaks down to a few.

    Value for Money

Hill university offers a lot of scholarship which makes it good for the value of money especially for the people living in dehradun or anywhere in uttarakhand. In my case if i secure a package of 6 lakh then it is 50% approximately roi.

    Campus Life

Campus life is good overall and it is the one thing about this college which i can rate good. the students come here to communicate so it will be easier to make friends and communicate and with the wide diversity of students, it will also help with the communication skills and improve your knowledge about different cultures.

    Others

    Overall a pretty average college.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

So many facilities are provided to the students, like a proper Wi-Fi zone campus, fully automated labs and classrooms, and a well-furnished library, gym, transport and many more. Hostel facilities are good, quality of food in mess and canteen are good but the food provided in canteen was very bad and I suggest you to not to eat from there.

    Academics

Teachers are friendly and knowledgeable during my course period. However, some of them have left now, so I am not sure about the upcoming ones. They also give career counselling and help you find your interest. Mid-sem and end-sem exams are conducted every semester. The course curriculum is made in such a manner that makes us industry ready.

    Placements

Most of the students are not able to sit in placements due to their active backlog. There are nearly 400-500 students in our batch so the competition is bit difficult, but if you've some relevant skills and good academics you can easily grab those placement.

    Value for Money

My fees of whole course was 3.28 lacs. As this course provides me practical knowledge and helps me to develop some relevant skills so for me this is the best return on investment.

    Campus Life

Our campus is situated in the Clement town, and it creates learning environment. Another thing I like is the weather of Dehradun.

Learning a lot in the college.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

I feel that the infrastructure generally meets my needs but could use some improvements. The classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, projectors, and comfortable seating, though I think some could use modern updates. The laboratories are good for hands-on work, but a few pieces of equipment seem outdated. The library has a decent selection of books and study spaces, but I believe the digital resources could be better. The sports center offers basic facilities, and the hostels are clean with decent food options. Overall I think there’s room for better maintenance and modernization in some areas.

    Academics

In my MBA program at Graphic Era University, I’m focusing on Finance with a minor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. I chose this combination because I’m passionate about financial strategies and how they intersect with supply chain operations. I feel that the quality of teaching is good the professors are knowledgeable and offer valuable insights. However, I think the curriculum could be more up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. While it covers the essential topics, incorporating more current trends and technologies would be beneficial. Overall, what I’m learning is relevant and provides a good foundation, but some updates to the curriculum could enhance my job readiness further.

    Placements

The quality of placements is fairly good but could be improved. Around 70-80% of students were placed, with the highest salary package going to students from technical courses like B.Tech. I found the college to be supportive throughout the process, but there were areas where better guidance and preparation could have enhanced the overall experience.

    Value for Money

I feel that the value for money is reasonable. The fees are relatively high compared to some other institutions, but the quality of education and facilities provided justify the cost. However, I believe that for the fee structure, the university could invest more in modernizing facilities and enhancing support services. Overall, while I feel I'm getting a fair return on my investment, some additional improvements would make it even better.

    Campus Life

I find the campus to be conducive to both studying and participating in extracurricular activities. The best feature is the variety of student clubs and organizations, which offer many opportunities for engagement in sports, cultural events, and academic groups. However, I feel that some areas of the campus could benefit from modernization. The support staff are generally helpful, providing good resources for both academic and personal support. The university’s location is accessible, although transportation options could be better. I feel safe on campus, as there are measures in place to handle emergencies

    Developing college for middle class

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is very much average. The classrooms and computer labs are basic, and there is a lot of need improvement in terms of modern facilities. The campus could be more updated to match the needs of students.

    Academics

I am doing MBA from here. The teachers are experienced and knowledgeable, and the curriculum is very much well-structured. I feel like I’m getting a solid education, and the courses are relevant and helpful for my MBA

    Placements

Placements are pretty amazing and good. Some good companies come for recruitment, and with effort, students can secure good jobs. There’s still room to bring in more top companies, but overall, the opportunities are decent.

    Value for Money

The fees structure is Little high but The education is affordable for the quality provided, but considering the infrastructure, I think it could offer more for the money. If they upgrade the facilities, it would definitely feel like better value.

    Campus Life

Campus life is very much average. There are events and activities, but it’s not as amazing as I was expecting. While there are chances to get involved, I think more opportunities for social and personal growth would make the campus experience better
