Master of Education (M.Ed) is a full-time two years duration course offered at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.


Eligibility Criteria

(A) A candidate seeking admission to the M.Ed. the program should have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the following programmes: B.Ed. B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed. B.El.Ed. D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each).

(B) Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other applicable categories shall be as per the rules of central government/ state government/ GNDU rules which ever is applicable. There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/ST/OBC categories of candidates.

Admission will be based on merit of the candidate in qualifying examination.
