Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai is one of the good institutions which got the status of a deemed to be University on June 3, 2005 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.  The Institute is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The other constituent Institutes of Homi Bhabha National Institute are Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore, etc... The placements are very good at this college and the medium salary is 18.20 lacks per annum. Intakes admissions based on NEET PG, NEST, DNB PDCET. This college is raked 30th by NIRF.
