About IIIT Raichur

Indian Institute of Information Technology Raichur was established in the year 2019. IIT Hyderabad was the mentor institute of IIIT Raichur from 2019 to 2022. IIIT Raichur functions from its current transit camp set-up at the Government Engineering College of Raichur.

IIIT Raichur is recognised as an "Institute of National Importance". Courses at IIIT Raichur include B.Tech and Ph.D programmes with different specialisations. IIIT Raichur B.Tech programme offers specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering, Mathematics and Computing and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. IIIT Raichur Scholarship

The students at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Raichur, Karnataka can avail of scholarships granted by the Government of India, MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) and UGC (University Grants Commission) and state scholarships which apply to the residents of a particular state.
