24 MonthsThe Executive Post Graduate Program in Management (ePGP) is designed in such a way that it minimizes disruption to work and personal pursuit. The Program is spread over twenty- four months. The main objective of Program is to prepare participants for an advanced career in management by giving a solid foundation in various management topics that are essential for building capabilities to take on the new forms of competition. The Program offers a blend of various general management theories, soft skills and analytical methods with real world business scenario cases. It has 1020 hours of content delivery (including 900 hours of teaching) such that it is spread across six terms of (3.5-4) months each and a mini-term which includes Mini Dissertation and Integrated simulation project. The selection process is designed to ensure significant diversity in academic, business and cultural background. During the course of this program, interaction with peers and faculty will augment many skills, appreciation of differing perspectives, effective communication, conflict management, negotiation and mobilizing individuals towards common goals-all essential ingredients of effective management practices. The overall goal of the programme is to broaden core leadership competencies to further enhance the professional growth of participants. The specific objectives of the programme are:
• To develop an ability to integrate decisions and solutions across disciplines in complex decision-making environments.
• To appreciate the influence of macro and micro business environmental factors.
• To incorporate a clear framework for ethical and value-based decision-making supported by unyielding personal integrity.
• To have a professional presence and the ability to articulate a vision needed to motivate others and lead diverse teams of people.
• To develop values and proactive attitudes for societal well-being.
The Program offers a blend of various general management theories, soft skills and analytical methods with real world business scenario cases. It has 1020 hours of content delivery (including 900 hours of teaching) hours of teaching spread across six terms which includes online classroom sessions, campus modules, capstone project and mini dissertation. Total content hours of the program are 1020 hours.
The Program will be of 34 credits spread across 6 terms, where 1 credit = 30 hours of classroom contact (equivalent). The whole course is designed to be completed in around 2 years.
This program will comprise of:
• 750 hours of core courses (25 credits)
• 150 hours of elective course (5 credits) – Covered in term VI.
• Integrated business simulation project focused on application of managerial concepts in real life setting- 2 credits
• Mini dissertation to be carried out under supervision of a faculty member – 2 credit.

Program format
The 1st term will have an on-campus component, followed by online classes for remaining terms. At the end of each term, there would be online exams. In the final term (mini-term), there would also be mandatory campus visit.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, awarded by any of the recognized universities and minimum 2 years of post-qualification full-time managerial/entrepreneurial/professional work experience as on 1st July 2021. Minimum requirement as per different categories is given in Table 1.

The final composite score is computed based on two parameters, viz., Personal Interview (50%) and Profile (50%). The detail of weightage in each parameter is provided in Table 2.

Personal Interview:
The candidate has to appear before an interview panel. The candidate will be evaluated on 5 parameters namely, Richness of Industry Experience, Communication Skills, Leadership Aptitude, Team Spirit and Ethical Orientation.
Profile:
Academic Profile: Academic profile weights are based on the percentage of marks that the candidate obtained during his/her 12th Standard/Equivalent and Graduation, which is given in Table 3.

*Note: Percentage to be calculated for all the subjects that appears in the mark sheet irrespective of method of calculation by respective board/institute/universities.
**The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution. In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ Institution. If any University/Institution confirms that there is no scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100. The candidate has to submit the conversion certificate issued by the University/institution. |
Work Experience: The distribution of weightage in relation to experience is given in Table 4.

* Only relevant work experience after graduation in terms of completed months will be considered. Candidate should ensure that the work experience claimed by the candidate is authentic and professionally significant enough to deserve credit. For instance, no consideration is given to any time spent as an intern, either during or after the course of study in a programme, or any periods of apprenticeship such as articleship required as part of certain professional courses, or any unpaid work undertaken in any organization or institution. The work experience will be verified based on the relevant documents (including experience certificate, appointment or reliving letter, first and last month pay slips, bank statement etc.), which needs to be mandatorily produced by the candidate at the time of PA and subsequent admission related process. Note that the work experience certificate should be furnished on a letter head of the employer organisation, should carry a seal of the employer and be duly affirmed by the authorized signatory. |
Gender Diversity: Gender diversity aims to ensure the balance between gender. To achieve this objective, IIM Raipur provides four (4) marks to the female candidates.
Academic Diversity: IIM Raipur strives to promote the academic diversity by providing four (4) marks for non-engineering graduates. The qualifying degrees for obtaining academic diversity is given in Appendix-1.
2.4 Reservation Policy:
IIM Raipur will apply the Government of India reservation policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs).
