12 MonthsPost Graduate Diploma in Journalism (English) is a one-year full-time postgraduate diploma course offered by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.
The Post Graduate Diploma course in English language is designed to train young professionals in the basics of journalism as well as in all current trends, including the latest developments in cyber and electronic journalism, for their all-round development. Students of English journalism are treated like professional journalists and are engaged in intensive practical exercises. To hone their skills, they undergo continuous desk and reporting work to help transform them into fully equipped professionals. The course is available in New Delhi (68 seats), Dhenkanal (68 seats), Aizawl (30 seats), Amravati (30 seats), Jammu (30 seats), and Kottayam (30 seats)
Eligibility Criteria
Indian nationals possessing a bachelor's degree awarded by a recognized university are eligible to apply. Students who have appeared/are appearing for the final year/semester examination of their Bachelor's Degree are also eligible to apply.
Admission Details
The selection of candidates (other than the NRI quota) will be solely based on their performance in the CUET conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
