- B.Tech., B.E. or B.Sc. (Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Power Plant Engineering)
- B. Tech.(Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Power Plant Engineering) from any of the CFTIswith CPI or CGPA 8/10 or above
- M.Sc. (Physics)

Valid GATE score (in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering)
Valid GATE score (in Physics) or equivalent National level Examination
