Eligibility Criteria
Bachelors degree in Civil/Mining/Electrical/Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering/Information Technology/Geoinformatics, or Master of Science in Earth Science and related areas or Geography/Physics/Mathematics/Environmental Sciences. Candidates with M.Sc. degree must have mathematics as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level.
Admission Details
Through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The examination is usually announced in the month of August and held in February across the country. Sponsored candidates from the industries as well as research organizations with appropriate experience need not have qualified GATE.
