IIT Tirupati organised a 3-day Workshop on Public Policies in Practice from Nov 7-9, 2024.
Last date for the GATE 2025 application form correction is November 20, 2024.
JEE Main 2025 registrations are ongoing and last date to apply is November 22, 2024.
GATE 2025 admit card will be released on January 2, 2025.
About IIT Tirupati
Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati) was established in 2015 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. IIT Tirupati is the fastest-growing 3rd generation IIT and includes a proposed research park. IIT Tirupati is an autonomous engineering and technology educational institute.
The Institutes of Technology Act, of 1961 declared it the Institute of National Importance. Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati started functioning with the help of IIT Madras. Some of the courses at IIT Tirupati include B.Tech, M.Tech, MA, M.Sc, PhD and many more. IIT Tirupati fee ranges from Rs 54,000 to Rs 8.90 lakhs.
Before applying for IIT Tirupati admissions the candidates should appropriate entrance examination which includes JEE Advanced/GATE/JAM/ CSIR-UGC-NET/NBHM. The IIT Tirupati admissions are done based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination. During placements 2023-24, IIT Tirupati CSE highest salary package stood at Rs 41.64 LPA.

IIT Tirupati Scholarship
IIT Tirupati scholarship includes Merit-cum-scholarship, Institute free studentship, Institute SC/ST scholarship, and many other scholarships are offered by the institute that supports financial needs of the students. The college offers many scholarships to meritorious and needy aspirants. IIT Tirupati scholarships are offered separately for B.Tech, M.Sc., M.Tech, M.S and Ph.D students.
Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, Institute Free Studentship and SC/ST Scholarship are B.Tech programme scholarships. To avail these scholarships, candidates’ annual family income should be up to Rs. 4.5 lakhs. Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati scholarships for M.Sc. programmes are Merit Scholarship, Free Studentship and 50% Free Studentship. These scholarships are provided on the basis of the performance of candidates in every semester, except 50% free studentship, where in addition to the performance of the candidates annual family income is also considered. The annual family income should be up to Rs. 4.5 lakhs.
For M.Tech programme students, HTTA, that is, Half Time Teaching Assistance is offered. Under this scheme, the IIT Tirupati scholarship amount, Rs. 12,400 per month is awarded to those students, who are admitted to the M.Tech programme. The institute also offers fellowships to M.S. and Ph.D. programme students. For candidates admitted to M.S. programme, Rs. 12,400 per month and for Ph.D programme students, Rs. 31,000 per month is awarded. Yes, Many IIT's like IIT Madras and IIT Tirupati, conduct written test and interviews round for the admission of M.Tech or MS. IIT Madras call for interview for M. Tech who has qualified first round (written exam) . They used to ask some conceptual questions and some practical application oriented questions.
Admission in M. Tech (TA) and Research programmes, like MS, in most IIT include written test/ interview along with GATE score , so candidates must prepare well for it and should have the proper preparation strategy for it.
