The B.Tech is a four-year full-time undergraduate programme offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati. IIT Tirupati provides various branches of study under B.Tech like computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering and civil engineering. Yes, Many IIT's like IIT Madras and IIT Tirupati, conduct written test and interviews round for the admission of M.Tech or MS. IIT Madras call for interview for M. Tech who has qualified first round (written exam) . They used to ask some conceptual questions and some practical application oriented questions.
Admission in M. Tech (TA) and Research programmes, like MS, in most IIT include written test/ interview along with GATE score , so candidates must prepare well for it and should have the proper preparation strategy for it.
