International Institute for Population Sciences was established in 1956 and formerly known as Demographic Training and Research Centre (DTRC) till 1970. The International Institute for Population Sciences was established under the joint sponsorship of Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, the Government of India and the United Nations. International Institute for Population Sciences is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC).
The International Institute for Population Sciences offers a total of ten courses. IIPS Mumbai courses are offered at postgraduate and doctoral levels. Some of the International Institute for Population Sciences courses are M.Sc. Biostatistics and Demography, Master of Population Studies, M.Phil Biostatistics and Demography, M.Phil Population Studies, Ph.D. Biostatistics and Demography, Ph.D. Population Studies. The International Institute for Population Sciences offers admission to postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Our college has one of the best libraries, and it is open for 14 hours a day. Our college provides a Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus. Our college provides facilities like computer labs, data centre for individual research work, classrooms equipped with air-conditioned and projector facility, badminton and TT court, playground and 24x7 study rooms with one desktop per study room.

Infrastructure available for our was top-notch. Facilities available in our college were also of the best quality. The entire college campus was having Wi-Fi connection. Labs and library were also fully equipped in our college. Classrooms of our college were fully spacious. Hostel facilities were also available in our college. Food at the hostel mess was also good to eat.

It is quite difficult to predict the cutoff score or marks to score in entrance test for getting admission as NO Official Data regarding this is available.
