24 MonthsComputer Aided Structural Engineering is an innovative program, focused on the combination of recent advances made in the field of structural engineering and computer science. This combination allows structural engineer the flexibility and freedom for a better understanding of structural behavior with material and geometric non-linearity and loading uncertainties.
The students join this program with a background in civil engineering. The course provides an excellent grounding in the fundamentals of structural engineering subjects. It also engages in a comprehensive study of computer science subjects such as programming, databases, graphics, visualization etc.
Eligibility Criteria
B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. (any branch including CSE/ECE/EEE/Civil/ Biotechnology), B.Arch., Masters Degree in Science/Mathematics/Information Technology/Computers/MCA Programmes.
Admission Details
Admissions will be based on the performance in an entrance test and followed by an interview. A computer-based entrance test will be conducted in many cities across India on April last. The tentative date of the interview to be held at IIIT Hyderabad will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates soon after the entrance test. The candidate has to clear the interview to get the admission into PG programmes.
