The eligible candidate should fill out the IIIT Hyderabad admissions application form.

The candidate must appear for the general aptitude test and subject test.
The candidate who is shortlisted for the MS course will move to the next round, which will include an interview.
The candidate must appear and should secure a valid score in the PGEE/GATE examination for M.Tech admission.
The candidate’s admission will be shortlisted based on their performance on written tests and in the interview.
The selected candidate will be informed regarding the seat allotment.
The shortlisted candidate should submit all the documents along with the payment of the IIIT Hyderabad UG course fee.

The candidate must appear for the GATE examination and should secure a high score in it.
Applicants with high GATE scores will be directly shortlisted for interviews. Shortlisted candidates will be notified prior to the PGEE exam.
The applicants who are not chosen for a direct interview must still take the PGEE exam.

The faculty were very experienced and very friendly with all students; they taught us in a unique way so we could easily catch it. They are highly qualified to teach us. My course is curriculum relevant and they make us ready to the current industry. For each semester, there are mid-semester, end-semester, quizzes, and lots of assignments will be given. We have to study hard to pass the semester Each semester will include a midterm and an endterm, as well as quizzes and numerous assignments. The pass percentage is 50 percent.
Having so nice experience here.

If you uploaded the wrong document while filling out the IIIT Hyderabad SPEC Program application, you should contact the admissions office as soon as possible. IIIT Hyderabad does not specify an official correction window for SPEC application on their website, so immediate action is recommended.

Yes, getting into IIIT Hyderabad for CSE is significantly tougher than getting into Manipal for CSE.

IIIT Hyderabad:
Admission is highly competitive due to its reputation for excellence in computer science. The main admission channels are through JEE Advanced (top ranks required), JEE Main (very high percentile), and other direct modes like Olympiad and KVPY.
- Manipal: Admission is through the MET (Manipal Entrance Test), which is easier compared to JEE Advanced or achieving a top rank in JEE Main. The cutoff for CSE at Manipal is relatively lower than IIIT Hyderabad.
IIIT Hyderabad demands a top percentile in JEE, whereas Manipal’s MET is more moderate in difficulty.
