72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Food Technology is six years program offered by School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Technology at the Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Candidates having passed M.Tech. (food Tech/ Biotech) or M.Sc. (Food Science/Technology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry) or M. Pharma (Pharmaceutics/ Pharmacognosy/Phytochemistry/ Pharma Biotech) with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University/ Institute.
NET-JRF/ Individual Fellowship holders/Project Fellows will be preferred for admission in the Ph.D.programs.
