Jeppiaar University Chennai was established in 2021 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is a private university, named after its founder, late Col. Dr. Jeppiaar, a well-known educationalist. Jeppiaar University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The university aims to provide a quality education to its students and offers a wide range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in various disciplines such as engineering, management, arts and science.
