KSU Admissions

KSU courses are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. According to the KSU admission process, admission to the UG and PG programme is based on the entrance exam conducted by Karnataka Samskrit University, Bangalore. For KSU PG admission,  candidates who have passed the Kovida examination conducted by the Samskrit Bharati need not appear for the entrance examination. Talking about the admission process of M.Phil and PhD programme, admission is based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam and performance in the interview. KSU UG Admission

• Aspiring candidates have to download the application form and submit the completely filled form along with all the required documents for KSU admission procedure.

• For KSU UG admission, candidates have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. 

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks secured in the entrance examination and such candidates shall be eligible for the further KSU admission process.

• Shortlisted candidates have to get their documents verified and pay the requisite fee in order to confirm their KSU admission.

• Thus, the final admission of the candidates to the UG programme will be based on the marks of the entrance exam, participation in the university-level document verification and fee payment.

KSU PG Admission

• Candidates aspiring to take admission to the postgraduate course offered by Karnataka Samskrit University have to fulfil the eligibility criteria for the programme they wish to pursue and then submit an online application on the website of the university.

• Applicants have to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university for KSU admission.

• It is to be noted that candidates who have passed the Kovida examination conducted by the Samskrit Bharati need not appear for the entrance examination.

• Candidates qualifying the entrance examination will be shortlisted and only the shortlisted aspirants are eligible to be a part of the further KSU admission process.

• Shortlisted candidates have to participate in the university level document verification and fee payment and it is mandatory to complete this procedure in order to confirm their admission.

• Final selection of the candidates shall be based on marks secured in the entrance exam, participation in the university level document verification and fee payment.

M.Phil/PhD 

• Aspiring candidates have to submit the application form along with all the necessary documents on the website of Karnataka Samskrit University.

• Applicants have to appear for an entrance test conducted by the university for KSU admission.

• Candidates have to qualify the entrance exam and the qualifying candidates will be called for an interview.

• Candidates have to qualify the interview and on the basis of the performance in the interview, candidates will be shortlisted.

• Shortlisted for the last stage of KSU admission procedure on the basis of the marks obtained in the admission test and interview and then they have to participate in the university level document verification and fee payment.

• Final admission shall be based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam, performance in the interview, university-level document verification and fee payment.
