Eligibility Criteria

There are no prerequisites to enrol for this online course by Swayam NPTEL. The students from Indian universities, studying Agricultural and Food Engineering are eligible for this course. 

Education

The applicants registering for the Food microbiology certification course by Swayam NPTEL need to be undergraduates studying Agricultural and Food Engineering. 

Certification Qualifying Details

Assessments and assignments conducted during the term will be considered for internal exam marks. This carries 30 percent for the overall result. The exam will have 100 questions. This carries 70 percent of the overall result.

To be eligible for a certificate and credit transfer, it is mandatory to score a minimum of 40 percent in the in-course assessment and a minimum of 40 percent in the end term proctored exam, separately.
