Hello Nancy,
Yes, there
can be an issue
during admission to
Delhi University
if your name is different in your documents. Even a small spelling error like
"Nancy"
vs
"Nacny"
may lead to discrepancies during document verification.
Here's what you should do:
Get an affidavit
from a notary public stating that both names refer to the same person.
Optionally,
publish the name correction
in a local newspaper and keep a copy.
Submit a request
to your school board (CBSE/State Board) for name correction in your 12th marksheet, if possible.
Keep your Aadhar card, caste certificate, and other ID proofs ready that show the correct name (Nancy).
Delhi University usually allows admission if proper proof is provided, but it’s better to
get the mistake corrected officially
for future use.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, then feel free to share your questions with us, we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
