A Candidate must have passed the B.A. with Sanskrit as a Major/ Optional Subject or Graduates who have passed in Sahithya examination conducted by the Board of Sanskrit Education. Bangalore or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto or candidates who have passed the Vidwat/ Vidwan examination of the Board of Sanskrit Education, Govt. of Karnataka from any recognized university.
Admission based on the marks obtained in the respective subjects/aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and Entrance test.
Note: In respect of those subjects where Entrance test is conducted admission shall be made on the basis of a merit list prepared by taking into consideration 50% of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (excluding Basic/Common subjects) and 50% of marks obtained in the Entrance test.
