About Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar
Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), Bidar is a Public university in the Bidar district of Karnataka. The university was established in 2004, and as the name suggests it was formed with an aim to promote education in the field of Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Science education. Since its Operations, The University has accomplished many achievements.
The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and offers programs in Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral programs. The university has a strong emphasis on practical training and research, to ensure that the students get an in-hand experience in their respective fields, and is considered one of the best Universities in Karnataka.
There are 15 Colleges and Institutes under the University of Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), spread across Karnataka. Admission Procedure of Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University for UG courses
Candidates need to appear for the KCET, conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority.
A common merit list is generated and as per the availability of seats and the reservation guidelines, seats are allotted to the candidates.
Candidates from other States need to seek admission only through the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi.
The candidates should submit their Original documents and pay their respective fees to confirm their Admission.

Admission Procedure of Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University for PG courses
Application for admission shall be submitted to the Registrar, KVAFSU, Bidar in the prescribed format as per the notification issued by the University.
Eligible applicants shall be required to appear in the written examination and counselling will be conducted based on the merit list.
A common merit list for each group is prepared and the Admission committee shall allot the seats subject-wise in each group, based on merit, subject to the availability of seats and the reservation policy of the Karnataka State Government.
