Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Analytics is three years (6 Semester) full-time undergraduate honors program offered at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore.

Data analytics deals with data set processing as well as statistical analysis of data sets. Data scientists are required in every sector, carrying out statistical analysis or mining data on social media. This course can open the door to almost any industry, from health, to government, to publishing. B.Sc Data Science and Analytics course is designed to provide an in depth knowledge of big data techniques, and their applications for effective decision making. The course aims to develop graduates who would be able to analyze data available in any field and use it for decision making in diverse fields. These professionals would be trained in decision making using data analytics to boost business performance, improve product development and increase revenues. They would be trained in areas like creating statistical models, assessing the models and applying these models in real world contexts.
