Kerala University of Digital Science, Innovation, And Technology also known as DUK is a deemed University situated at IIITM Campus, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. DUK was established in the year 2000, and has been in the forefront in providing facility in the area of digital innovation and technology. The university currently provides 24 unique courses under six degrees as follows; Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics among others. DUK has an intake capacity of 285 for students and 14 faculty members which makes it possible to develop a close knit student-teacher relationship and enable students as well as the faculty to undertake innovative research.

According to record, DUK has well equipped facilities that cater for its academic courses. There is also a Geoinformatics Lab, Data Engineering Lab and Agrilab existing in the campus to provide a feel of practical learning and research. The institution has accessible modern technology through the Central Computing Facility alongside internet in National Knowledge Network. These include M.Sc, M.Tech, MBA and Ph.D. programs are among the options available to learners in this university. A few of the extended degree programmes of M.Sc are Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Machine Intelligence, Geospatial Analytics etc .which are offered with cohort strength ranging from 30-60 students. The M.Tech programs include specific fields for instance Artificial Intelligence Hardware, Signal Processing and Automation and Connected Systems and Intelligence. It also presents courses that cover niche areas such as Master of Science in Bio Artificial Intelligence and Master of Science in Distributed Systems and Blockchain Technologies to show its flexibility for new innovations.

The process of admission at DUK is Selective and challenging. Most of the M.Sc. programs have admissions through IITCAT, while for admission to M.Sc. program in relevant subject, the candidate has to take valid GATE scores. Many also accept scores on test including CUSAT CAT, CAT, GMAT and XAT. The university held its own Research Aptitude Test (ITRAT) for admission into M.Phil programme but recognised the valid GATE or NET scores. The Ph.D. admissions of the university include the academic written test, the analysis of a research proposal, and an interview. This enhances the selection process to make sure that DUK gets only the best crop of students capable of producing research work.
