Madhyanchal Professional University, Bhopal, is a state private university in Ratibad, established in 2018. Based in a large 100 acre campus the university provides wide ranged 95 courses in 4 different degree programmes. MPU is recognised by the University Grants Commission or UGC so it effectively conforms to the polity. The university has specialisation of giving education in engineering disciplines particularly Agricultural Engineering, Mining Engineering and Rural Engineering has been started by understanding the demand of the local market and employment sector.

MPU has made an effort to acquire some modern equipments with the aim of improving student education. The campus includes different hostel accommodations boys’ hostel and girls’ hostel. The Boys and girls hostels are fully provided with Wi-Fi facility, gym, and indoor-outdoor games. A large dining hall where one can get hot meals and snacks throughout the day as there are special student’s diets. For those who come from outside the region, they are normally transported by the university transport facilities, special weekend trips to local markets for hostel dwellers. There is also an ATM on the campus and cooperative store for sale of various items by students thereby making all basic amenities available in the university compound.

Madhyanchal Professional University provides 95 different programmes majoring on full-time engineering courses.  Besides these fundamental engineering classes, the university also has a Master of Social Work (MSW) extending the category of study to the social sciences.

Admission at Madhyanchal Professional University has clearly structured as centralised and merit based. Regarding B.Tech admissions, most of the institutes accept JEE Main rankings for students which makes the evaluation criteria more rigorous and credible. In the other categories, students can apply with or without entrance exam provided they meet the cut off percentage of 45 % in PCM in their 10+2 standard.
